Dr. K. Dale Atterberry Scholarship
Established in 2016, The Dr. K. Dale Atterberry Scholarship recognizes a student who plans to attend Medical School or a Biology or Science Major. The scholarship honors the late K. Dale Atterberry, a leader in Beta Chapter and major benefactor of both the Goetze Educational Foundation and the Beta Alumni Association.
Keith C. Dinsmore Scholarship
Established in 2015, The Keith C. Dinsmore Scholarship recognizes a Major in Journalism, Communications, a Media-related Field or Political Science who has shown leadership either in the Chapter, in Campus Activities or both. The scholarship honors the late Keith C. Dinsmore, a leader in Beta Chapter and the National Fraternity of Sigma Tau Gamma.
Basil D. Hunt Scholarship
Eastablished in 2013, The Basil D. Hunt Scholarship recognizes an Education Major or a student who has shown leadership in campus activities. The scholarship honors the late Basil D. Hunt, a leader in the field of Education as well as Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.
P.O. Selby Scholarship Award
Established in 1967 by the Beta Alumni Association to recognize outstanding leadership and service to Beta Chapter, the Selby Scholarship Award honors the late P.O. Selby, a former Dean and chapter advisor
Hocker Career Scholarships
Endowed by the late O. Glen Hocker and his wife, Mary Virginia, the Hocker Career Scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding promise in their chosen fields. Brother Hocker was a founder of Dairy Queen and served as president of the Goetze Foundation.
Durward Dewitt Leadership Scholarships
The Dewitt Scholarships were established and endowed by the late Durward G. Dewitt, an early member of Beta Chapter for whom the original residential wing of the chapter house is named. Preference of this scholarship will be given to current and former chapter officers who have provided significant leadership to the chapter.
F. Karl Grassle Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1967 by the widow of the late F. Karl Grassle, a former Vice President of the Bank of American, the Grassle Scholarship is to recognize a member of Beta Chapter who has given service to the chapter and who has shown outstanding promise in his field of study.
J.T. Angus Memorial Scholarship
The Angus Scholarship was initially established by Beta Chapter to honor the memory of J.T. Angus, a charter member of the chapter and professor of social science. Preference is given to students in fields of social science.
Roy L. Hutchison Memorial Scholarship
The Hutchison Memorial Scholarship was established by the widow of the late Roy L. Hutchison, a charter member of Beta Chapter and president of the Francis A. Wright Accounting Firm in Kansas City, who served as the first Secretary-Treasurer of the Foundation. Preference is given to students in fields of business or accounting.
Kenneth W. Serfass Memorial Scholarship
The Serfass Memorial Scholarship was established by friends of the late Kenneth W. Serfass. Brother Serfass served as president of Beta Chapter in 1960-61 and as a regional officer of Sigma Tau Gamma. The scholarship recognizes continuing service to the Fraternity.
Gingerich Memorial Scholarship
The Gingerich Memorial Scholarship was established by the widow and friends of the late Wesley Gingerich, a noted elementary school administrator in Saint Louis County. The Gingerich Scholarship recognizes a student in the field of education.
Frank R. Ficke Memorial Scholarship
The Frank R. Ficke Memorial Scholarship was established by the widow of the late Frank R. Ficke, a former president of Beta Chapter and an officer of the Goetze Foundation. Brother Ficke was an outstanding student-athlete, accordingly, the Ficke Scholarship recognizes the athletic achievements of its' recipient.
